Mark Johnson2024-11-21 Daniel was brilliant. I first went to see him about a shoulder problem but at the same time I was seeing a consultant. After the consultants examination they suggested I had a steroid and local anaesthetic injection! Daniel challenged this saying why would I have a steroid and local anaesthetic when they hadn’t diagnosed what the problem was. I then took this challenge back to the consultant who then referred me for a Nerve conducting test, which was the direction Daniel told me to go. This resulted in being diagnosed as having Brachial Neuritis. The treatment for this diagnosis was the exercises Daniel had told me to do and no steroid or anaesthetic required to be given! Daniel is just brilliant at his job and happy to challenge a direction given by another profession. I would thoroughly recommend this organisation and in particular Daniel. Paul Abel2024-10-17 I have been receiving treatment over a period of a few months for an ankle injury caused whilst running. The treatment has been superb. A quick diagnosis and with a structured plan to rehabilitation has seen me recover far quicker than i expected. Would highly recommend Nevin Sengun2024-10-02 I had problems with my lower back and the hip. We had 4 sessions with Daniel in a month. To be honest, all of them were so painful. At the end of each I felt so tired. However, he helped me getting better. Many thanks, Daniel. There are two main reasons for sharing my opinion - one is his professional approach ( I am greatful for that) and the other one is letting people know they should give it a go. Cerys W2024-09-24 Had a wonderful experience. Made feel completely at ease and helped me get back to feeling normal again after I'd had a car accident. Would definitely recommend. Eadmund Dunstall2024-09-17 Although I am eighty years old, Rocco treated my complaint with care and compassion and after only four treatments over about a month has almost completely healed my shoulder, which was causing me some pain. His knowledge of exactly where to press was like magic and I have no words to describe the relief that his treaments brought me. Stuart Brown2024-07-30 Daniel is very friendly and uses all the skills at his disposal to cure any back problem. He cured my chronic pain within a few sessions. Stacey ryan Harding2024-07-08 I had to come here due to a neck injury due to a car crash. I have had Rocco who is brilliant. He has done wonders on my neck and Iv had less headaches from the first appointment. Rocco is professional and such a nice person. I would recommend him over any other physical therapist Iv seen. Uses thin needles inserted at specific points of the body to stimulate energy flow, relieve pain, and promote general health.
Focuses on targeted muscle groups, helping to reduce muscle tension and promote healing, making it ideal for those suffering from muscle pain chronic tension.
Health is a balance between body and mind; acupuncture helps restore this balance!
1. What is the difference between dry needling and traditional acupuncture?
Dry needling focuses on specific points to relieve muscle tension and improve mobility using needles that don’t inject substances. Traditional Chinese acupuncture, on the other hand, is based on a system of meridians and points to balance the body’s energy (Qi) and treat a variety of conditions.
2. Does acupuncture hurt?
Most patients report only a slight pricking sensation or warmth at the treated points. Generally, acupuncture is considered painless and relaxing.
3. How many sessions are needed to see results?
Results may vary depending on the condition being treated and individual responses. Many patients notice improvements after the first few sessions, but a complete course of treatments is often recommended for optimal results.
4. Can I resume daily activities after a session?
Absolutely, most people can return to their daily activities right after treatment. Some may feel more relaxed and energised following a session.
5. Is acupuncture safe?
Yes, when performed by qualified professionals, acupuncture is considered very safe. The needles used are sterile and disposable, minimising the risk of infection.
6. Are there any contraindications for acupuncture?
While acupuncture is generally safe, it’s important to inform your practitioner of any pre-existing medical conditions or medications to assess potential contraindications.
